What it does
Order clinical lab tests from a visit, receive results back (CSV, PDF, or manually entered), and optionally publish them to the patient's portal. Ships with a configurable lab catalogue and reference-range validation.

- Structured test catalogue
- Build or import a lab catalogue with test name, units, normal-range minimum and maximum and gender/age modifiers. Reference ranges drive the auto-flagging when results come back.
- Order from a visit
- Click "Order labs" from any visit — pick tests from the catalogue, add notes for the lab, and the order is generated with patient demographics already attached. The visit timeline shows the order alongside notes and prescriptions.
- Status workflow
- A clear pipeline — ordered → sent-to-lab → results-received → reviewed-by-clinician — drives the queue. Reception, lab tech and clinician each act on the queue from their own dashboard.
- Structured + flagged results
- Results are captured as structured numeric values (with units) and free text where needed. Out-of-range values auto-flag as HIGH, LOW or ABNORMAL based on the catalogue’s reference range.
- PDFs & file attachments
- External lab reports — PDFs, scanned forms, raw analyser exports — attach to the order and stay linked to the patient's record forever. No more chasing emails for last quarter's CBC.
- Portal publishing
- Publish reviewed results to the client portal with a single click, with abnormal values highlighted clearly. Clients see what their doctor wants them to see — nothing accidental, nothing premature.
