Overview
The Catalogue is your price list. Anything with a price tag lives here — the services you deliver, the retail products you sell at checkout, and the packages, memberships, and promotions you build on top.
Everything else in the app pulls from here: the Calendar shows services and durations, the POS shows prices and tax, the online booking site shows what clients can buy, and Reports reference categories and price points.
Services
- 1Open Catalogue → Services and click Add Service.
- 2Fill in Service Details — name, category (required; groups the service for colour-coding and reports), description, and optional icon.
- 3Set Pricing & Duration — price, duration in minutes, tax (inherit / none / specific rate), and commission type for team members.
- 4Pick Location Availability if you have multiple branches — not every service runs at every location.
- 5Choose Service Mode — in-person, online (with a Zoom link auto-generated), or both.
- 6Assign Team Members who can deliver this service; only they appear in the member dropdown on the Calendar.
- 7Save. The service is immediately available in the Calendar and POS.
Products
Products are everything you sell from the retail counter or online store — shampoos, skincare, branded merchandise. Each product has pricing, inventory levels, and optional variants.
- Basic Info: name, category, brand, description.
- Pricing: cost (supply), retail price, markup / profit, and tax.
- Inventory: SKU, current stock, low-stock level, reorder quantity, and supplier (feeds the Inventory module's reorder alerts).
- Commission: toggle whether team members earn commission on this product.
- Photos: upload multiple images; mark one as the main one for the booking site.
- Variants: sizes, colours, flavours — each variant has its own SKU, price, and stock count.
- Barcode: auto-generate or type one in; scan-to-add at the POS works immediately.
Bundles
A bundle is a package of services — often priced at a discount against the individual services. Think "Bridal Package" (makeup + hair + lashes) or "New Year Glow" (facial + mani + pedi).
Pricing modes
- Service pricing
- Total is the sum of each service's own price. No bundle discount — useful for grouping only.
- Custom pricing
- A fixed price you set for the whole bundle, regardless of the services inside.
- Percentage discount
- Calculated as "sum of services, minus X percent". Updates automatically if a service price changes.
Delivery
- Sequence: run services back-to-back in a fixed order, or in parallel (useful if two team members can work simultaneously).
- Online booking: toggle whether the bundle appears on the client booking site.
- Gender availability: all, male-only, female-only — matches the client's saved gender preference.
Memberships
Memberships are recurring plans — a flat monthly fee for unlimited services, a quarterly bundle, a pay-once-get-one-free deal. They bind the client to you and feed predictable revenue.
- 1Open Catalogue → Memberships and click Add Membership.
- 2Set the billing cycle: weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly.
- 3Set the duration: a fixed number of days, or unlimited (rolling subscription).
- 4Set the appointment allowance: a max number of included appointments (e.g. 4 per month) or unlimited.
- 5Set a discount percent that applies to any extra services beyond the allowance.
- 6List the benefits — free text that appears on the booking site and printed contracts.
- 7Save. The membership is now available to sell at the POS and on the booking site.
Discounts
Discounts cover everything from an auto-applied happy-hour deal to a single-use promo code.
- Type
- Automatic (applied whenever conditions match) or Code (requires the client to enter a code).
- Action
- Percentage off · Fixed amount off · Buy X get Y free.
- Scope
- Entire cart, specific items, or a whole category.
- Conditions
- Minimum purchase, minimum item count, restrict to a service/product/category or membership holders.
- Schedule
- Start and end dates, max total uses, max per customer.
- Priority
- Exclusive (cannot stack) or stackable with other discounts.
- Location
- All branches or specific ones.
Smart pricing
Smart Pricing lets you flex prices by day and time — peak hours up, off-peak down.
- 1Open Catalogue → Smart Pricing and toggle the master switch to On.
- 2Click Add Rule. Give it a name ("Weekend peak", "Monday twilight").
- 3Pick the day of week and the time range.
- 4Choose the direction — increase or decrease — and the adjustment (percentage or fixed amount).
- 5Choose which services it applies to (all or a selection) and which branch.
- 6Save. Rules list in the timeline view, grouped by day; a green Active right now label shows whenever a rule matches.
Quote at the right time
Prices on the booking site and POS always reflect the rule for the slot the service is booked for, not the moment the client is browsing. A Tuesday at 8pm appointment quoted at 6pm will still show the Tuesday-8pm price.
Tips
- Category every service — the Calendar uses service category as the default colour source, and reports group revenue by category.
- Keep descriptions short but specific on the booking site. "45-min cut and style with a senior stylist" beats "Haircut".
- Use percentage bundles rather than custom bundles where you can — the total re-calculates if you change a service price later.
- Test a discount before publicising it. Add it to a cart with Preview to confirm it stacks (or doesn't) the way you expect.
