Client Attendance

Walk-in queue and arrival tracking. Check clients in, assign to staff, hand off to checkout, and show a waiting-list TV in the lobby.

Roles
Add-ons permission to configure. Reception uses the queue with standard Client and Sales permissions.
01

Overview

Client Attendance is the queue you'd normally run on a whiteboard. A client walks in or arrives for an appointment — you check them in, the team sees them move through Waiting → Serving → Completed, and at the end of the visit the Complete & Checkout button takes you straight to the POS with everything pre-filled.

02

Activation

  1. 1Dashboard → Add-ons → Client Attendance → Activate.
  2. 2Open Add-ons → Client Attendance. The landing page is a live three-column queue.
  3. 3Optionally configure Settings — walk-ins toggle, end-of-day auto-reset, staff notifications, and TV display per location.
03

Checking clients in

  1. 1Click + Check In.
  2. 2Search the client by name or phone, or enter new-client details if walk-ins are allowed.
  3. 3If they have an appointment today, the service auto-fills.
  4. 4Confirm. They land at the back of the Waiting column with a queue number and a wait timer ticking.
04

Queue flow

Three stages, three actions.

Waiting → Serving
Pick the team member and hit Move to Serving. The card jumps columns; the wait timer stops.
Serving → Completed
At the end of service, hit Complete & Checkout. The POS slideover opens pre-filled with the client and the service.
Cancel / No-show
Remove the entry without checking out — useful if the client leaves the queue before being served.

The dashboard auto-refreshes every 30 seconds, so any team member looking at it sees new arrivals appear.

05

Check-in history

Every check-in over the last 30 days is in the History tab. Filter by date, status, assigned member. Useful for wait-time trends and for spotting patterns — busy hours, the day the lunchtime queue exploded, etc.

06

TV display

Generate a shareable URL per location that shows the waiting queue on a lobby TV. Clients see their queue number and an estimated wait. Nothing sensitive is exposed — just first names and queue positions.

  1. 1Settings → scroll to TV Display.
  2. 2Generate Link next to a location.
  3. 3Open the URL on a Chromecast, Apple TV, or any browser pointed at the screen.
  4. 4Regenerate Link if you ever need to revoke access.
07

Tips

  • Turn Enable Walk-Ins off if every visit must be pre-booked — some clinics run that way.
  • Keep the TV display on from open to close. Clients appreciate knowing the queue is moving.
  • Review History weekly to spot wait-time spikes and adjust staffing.
